Medieval ring Ri-49 brons

This ring is based on a medieval ring that was discovered on Mäster Johansgatan in Malmö. It was likely lost sometime during the 14th century and was rediscovered in 1939 at a depth of two meters while water pipes were being installed. The original piece was made of gold and had an inset white pearl. Now it can be admired at the Historical Museum in Stockholm and also viewed here: link.

Made of bronze with white mother-of-pearl.
