This fitting originates from a discovery at Birka and consists of a belt where a large number of rectangular fittings seem to have been placed side by side along the part that encircles the body. The hanging part of the belt was equipped with another type of rectangular fittings. Additionally, four domed fittings of this design are included.
The original fitting is stored at the Historical Museum in Stockholm.
