This Viking-era strap end is modeled after a Gotlandic discovery from the 9th or 10th century. The original is now housed at the Historical Museum in Stockholm.
The strap end is suitable for a belt that is at least 17 mm wide. It’s not an issue if the buckle is slightly wider, as it’s possible to narrow the belt towards the end. Up to 30 mm width is acceptable. The key is that the leather is at least 17 mm wide to accommodate the strap end.
The strap end is crafted from bronze.
