This Viking-age amulet is based on a discovery from Norway dating back to the 9th-10th century. It was found at the Hagsten farm in Østfold county and was part of a larger treasure of amber beads. The original, which is now exhibited at the Oslo Historical Museum, was slightly larger and made of amber. It can be seen here: link
