Lunula pendant Pe-04 bronze

This pendant is based on a find from Gotland. Lunula pendants were found in ancient Slavic and Nordic cultures and were crescent-shaped, associated with the moon and femininity. It was believed that they possessed protective powers against evil forces, demons, and witchcraft. The word “lunula” originates from the Slavic word for moon – “Luna”.
