This model is based on a medieval buckle from Eketorp Castle on Öland. The original is now housed at the Historical Museum in Stockholm and had the same size, but we made it slightly more decorative, drawing inspiration from the ornamentation of the 12th and 13th centuries. It fits a belt that is 19-21 mm wide.
