This pendant depicts Odin’s spear, Gungnir, which never missed its target. It is a symbol of Odin, the god of both war and wisdom, who is said to have created the runes. His attributes include the eight-legged horse Sleipnir, his spear Gungnir, and the ravens Hugin (thought) and Munin (memory).
