6 in stock

This Viking-age pendant originates from a discovery in Uppåkra, southern Sweden. The original was a fitting, possibly from a chest, and made of gilded bronze.

In Norse mythology, there are two different interpretations of this motif. It can either depict a god wearing Freyja’s falcon cloak or the master smith Völund, who forged his own wings.
