Tortoise brooches.
These brooches are based on a find in a wealthy female grave dating back to around the year 1000 in Finland. It is an extremely lightweight design, weighing only 19 grams each. Finnish and Baltic tortoise brooches are considerably smaller than Scandinavian ones, about 7 cm high, and slightly pointed at each end. They were widely found around the Gulf of Finland and Staraya Ladoga in the late Viking Age and continued to be used into the 1200s, but they were probably not used at all in Scandinavia.
Please note that the price is per pair.
