This bag fitting is based on a 10th-century find from Russia. It was positioned in the center of the lid and likely surrounded by four smaller, rhombic fittings. Similar finds have also been made in Scandinavia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. See also Bm-39.
The size of the inner hole is approximately 20 x 14 mm.
