This bracelet is based on a find from the Stigetreasure, a large silver treasure found in 1903 in the village of Indal by the Indalsälven river in Medelpad in northern Sweden. The treasure dates back to the Viking Age and consists of jewelry and coins. According to one theory, the origin and dating of the coins indicate that a large part of them came from a Viking raid in 994 against Stade in what is now Germany. Similar bracelets with punched patterns have also been found in Norway.

It is now at the Historical Museum in Stockholm and can be seen here: Viking bracelet from the Stigetreasure

The bracelet is made of bronze and can be shaped and adjusted to fit the wrist.
